Aarron's brother in law, Chris, gave him a pile of 1990’s Flex magazines which he kept for many years looking over and over at pictures of what he thought were the freakiest and best physiques in the world. He admired different athletes for specific muscle groups, for example, Paul Dillet’s traps, Lee Priest’s arms and Dorians Yates’ back etc.
As Aarron got more and more into the sport and competed he then knew from the age of 17 that he wanted his own gym. Time went on and he got to meet some good friends in 2008, friends that were life long and have helped him become the man he is today. James Collier was one of these good friends. After leaving prison, Aarron got a job at James' company; Muscle Talk.
In 2013, Aarron officially opened Alpha Training Gym. From that day the business soared. It was from this, that led on to the various projects that were based around the gym and fitness industry.
It was in 2014 that his brother, Harrie, and Aarron had an idea. They wanted to branch out into promoting. They sat down and came up with a plan and put it into action. Muscle Promotions was born. They did a 2 week tour around the country with Lee Priest covering well over 1000 miles. This was a great success and put Muscle Promotions firmly on the map.
It was in 2015 that Aarron started posting controversial videos regarding federations in the sport, uncovering corruption, lies and deceit. It was through social media, he informed many athletes, professional and amateur about what type of federations they were getting involved in. The social media following started to grow more and more. His fanbase started to grow alot more as he started to post more personal videos about his life and the world around him. He has become one of the world's most controversial characters on social media and has covered many taboo subjects of discussion inviting people to think about their actions and what they do on a global scale.
Along side the social media popularity, Lambo Brothers Ltd was born.
An internet based shop, for which Aarron and his brother Harrie, developed and sold sports supplements. The first of which was the A5 Thermogenic. As global sales started to boom, a selection of other supplements went in to production, including Bipolar (a pre workout), Alpha Trilogy (whey protein), Pure Alpha (test boosters) and also Kaal-El (an intra workout drink).
Every day that went past, the company grew more and more. With now more than 3 outlets for the supplements, their own exclusive fitness centre and their own gym equipment range, the brand is bar far one of the fastest growing companies in the UK.
In May 2018, Aarron and his brother Harrie decided to re-brand the supplement and clothing business. What was once called Alpha Training, is now named "Mental Hamster".
There are many reasons as to why, but the main reason is that they wanted to have fun within the industry. There are too many companies and brands which are all aggressive with "I'm hard" attitudes. Why not have fun in the industry by making fun out of ourselves. You can find out more about Mental Hamster by visiting: http://mentalhamster.com
